I went as staff with the school where I'm a Governor to take the Year 11 English group to see 'War Horse' - a play based on the use of horses at the Front during the First World War. It was a brilliant show - traumatic, humerous, visually stunning ...we all felt like our emotions had been ripped apart by the end and then our fantastic Y11's gave the cast a standing ovation. Wonderful! Given your love of all things equine, this play will have you in pieces if you ever get chance to see it :) The trip was fun – and lively! About a year ago I was talking to a friend of mine who was back here on vacation as she had retired to Mexico. I mentioned the donkeys on the Paciic coast where there are no roads. She said that her husband had given her a donkey as a surpise gift and that she just loved him( the donkey...but I suppose the husband, too for such a gift!) I loved seeing these images and reading this storty :) Philip This really made me smile.
